Snickerdoodle Greek Yogurt

Snickerdoodle Greek Yogurt

Ingredients:

 - 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat, according to your preference)

- 3 tablespoons creamy almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice)

- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to your sweetness preference)

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional, for a more pronounced almond flavor)

- 1/4 cup crushed Snickerdoodle cookies (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt and creamy almond butter. Mix them well until you get a smooth and creamy consistency.
  1. Add the honey or maple syrup to the yogurt mixture. Stir until the sweetness is evenly distributed. Taste and adjust the sweetness according to your liking.
  1. Now, it's time to add the delightful spices. Mix in the ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and ground cloves. These spices will provide the signature Snickerdoodle flavor to your yogurt.
  1. Add the vanilla extract and almond extract (if using) to the yogurt mixture. These extracts will further enhance the cookie dough essence.
  1. Take the Snickerdoodle cookies and crush them into small pieces, just like before.
  1. Add the crushed Snickerdoodle cookies to the yogurt mixture with the spiced cookie dough flavor. Gently fold them in, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.
  1. Transfer the Snickerdoodle Greek Yogurt to a serving bowl or individual cups.
  1. For the best flavor, cover the bowl or cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Chilling allows the flavors to meld together and enhances the overall taste.
  1. Before serving, you can sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top for an extra burst of aroma and taste.
