Protein Overnight Oats

Protein Overnight Oats

- 1/2 cup rolled oats

- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

- 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (whey, pea, hemp, etc.)

- 1 tablespoon chia seeds

- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

- 1-2 teaspoons sweetener of your choice (honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, etc.)

- Fresh fruits or berries for topping (e.g., sliced bananas, berries, apples)

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, and sliced almonds.

2. Add the almond milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using) to the bowl. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

3. Taste the mixture and add your preferred sweetener to adjust the sweetness to your liking. You can skip this step if your protein powder is already sweetened or if you prefer a less sweet taste.

4. Once everything is mixed thoroughly, cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator.

5. Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4-6 hours. During this time, the oats and seeds will absorb the liquid, and the flavors will meld together.

6. The next morning, give the overnight oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, you can add a splash of milk to achieve your desired consistency.

7. Serve the protein-packed overnight oats in a bowl or jar, and top with your favorite fresh fruits or berries for added flavor and nutrients.

Note: Feel free to experiment with different types of seeds, nuts, and fruits to create your perfect combination. You can also adjust the amount of protein powder based on your protein needs and taste preference.
